3 Consequences and implications of an unsafe port
This section will include an exploration of what happens when a vessel is ordered to an unsafe port and the the breach of the safety warranty is established (3.1). We will also discuss the responsibility of charterers when port unsafety arises after the nomination (3.2) and the scenarios where the owner and master of the vessel have the option to refuse the charterer’s orders (3.3).
