3.2. Court jurisdiction and the Lugano Convention

The general Norwegian rule on court jurisdiction is that disputes on international matters may only be brought before a Norwegian court if the facts of the case have a sufficiently strong connection to Norway (Civil Procedure Act Section 4-3).
